DEC 18(ish)

The ferries are DONE!!!!!!!!! They are delivered, payed for and out of my home, making way for new projects. I am painting an old wooden ladder, with ideas swirling in my head on ways to fill it (don't worry I have some interesting ideas!) hugs and laughter!! xoxoxox

waiting for my pizza dude!

I am (or was) sitting on my bed finishing the last bit of felting on the boy ferries. Because it is a custom order (yeh!) thair were some specific requests (for example a welding mask.....not a big deal and yet.....it is hard when my creative vision is dictated by someone else's vision. Something to keep in mind before saying yes to projects down the line. I am waiting for my pizza dude, and yes the girl called me by my name, and no the pizza place does not have caller I.D. I may need to examine my pizza habits!!!

Christmas market

HELLO!!!!!! Hi Jody! I have been epically busy...craft market, plans for Montreal, figuring out my finances.....I have been good though! O.k. in a moment of non photo planning I have very poorly taken pictures, however I will show you what I have with a New Years resolution to be more picture diligent. I don't have any photos of my craft table at the market, however in a moment of pure...I dont know what I have photos of what I saw standing behind my booth lol!!!!! I also have the 3 paintings that I finished in the 11th hour (2 of which sold!!!) I made $520 at the market!!!!!!!!!!! Feeling preety proud of myself! I have the remaining pictures hanging in the back room of the Redfish Grill (in Nelson) and have already sold 2 (they have been up for a day and a half!) The next big event is my art show at Oso (the hot spot coffee shop in town) O.k. lovely world sleep well!

night of the 8th

I have 5 possible paintings for Sat. I decided to rework some previous disasters, and low and behold....I am getting some interesting results....nothing finished which is slightly stressful, however.......I am going to stop painting for tonight and work on owls. I am always way more creative in the morning, which is great except the next 3 mornings I will be waitressing (creative serving!) I am a bit concerned that in order to get everything done I will have to do it at night....not my best hours! I seem to have misplaced my camera, so no pics. O.K. owls here I come!

dec. 8th

The power has gone out 3 times in the last 10 hours or so...no apparent reason..big blue sky! Welcome to the quirky power system of Nelson! I have 27 frames and a handful of owl pins for the craft fair this weekend...Central school 9:30 to 4:30 Nelson B.C. I am sort of in melt down mode....I promised some people that I would have some paintings for sale as well..big sigh. It is Tuesday morning right now..I work tomorrow, Thursday and Friday..craft fair is on Saturday...ginormous sigh! I need to work on procrastination I am very good at it and I need to practice how to be bad at it!!!!!! Coffee, painting cloths, music (if the power stays on) paint brushes and determination..here I come!

dec 3rd

Roxy, has made new friends...friends with lunch meat! A new group of people have moved into the house down the lane, I was having a quick chat with my friends (who also live in that building) I went outside to collect my dog...and she was gone. She smelled the new people cooking dinner and broke into thair house, settling herself in the middle of thair kitchen, convincing them to feed her lunch meats.......Oh my sweet darling Roxy!!!! Meanwhile in fairy (oh I think I finally spelled that right)land all 4 are started..tomorrow will be the sewing of cloths...and possibly completion!!!! Pictures when they are done!

Dec. 1st

I am about to tuck myself into bed...but first I had to give you a ferry update....not done however I have 2 that are heading in the done direction...yey!!!!!!!! I also finished the market sign....not perfect but (not that it is a contest) better then Brenton's!!!!! I should worn you that one of the ferry's is indeed wearing a pink thong...as all good ferry's should..giggle giggle!!!!!!
