Happy Halloween!!!!! I am still in Queen Charlotte City, population 1000, I have just gotten back from a party at the legion.... hilarious mayhem, kids...soooooo many kids in costume, jacked up on candy and excitement hitting huge pinyatas. Children ages 3 and up swinging a huge stick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I havent laughed that hard in a while!! My sister and I are going to hang out waiting for the kids to arrive (we need to contribute to the towns sugar high!!!) In the meantime I am felting away...I brought limited wool colours and my owls are starting to look the same. When I get home I may add some more detail with different wool. I am off to raid the candy bowl!!!!

Hi everyone! I made it!!!!!! I navigated through the bus, subway, and airport....several missed stops (I am convinced because of lack of sleep, not due to lack of direction ability!) and 1 billion dollars in coffee...I am on vacation! I have made 6 owls, although I forgot the pin backs on my craft table..opps!!! My sister, like my mom and I is a collector of things. Yesterday she pulled out buttons...hundreds of them!!! Isadore, age 1.5 years was quite over the moon when he discovered them. It then became the best day of his life when he realized he was whole heartily encouraged to dump them all over the floor....sooooo much fun!!!!!!! I am quite excited to use buttons in frames upon my return. Hugs laughter and toddler drool!!!!!!!!

O.K. who am I kidding....I am running around trying to pack up for my trip and I thought I would have time to be wonderfully creative and productive????????!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pictures in progress....I have eliminated almost all of my cloths in order to make room for my felting gear.......I will be playing dressup in my sisters closet! I intend to do some blogging while on the coast.....I hav''nt been on a vacation in forever!!!!! Hugs and laughter!

Happy Saturday! I have not blogged because not a whole lot of craftiness is going on! I have been busy...work, a little social fun, some housework (sometimes I do clean!) I am leaving Nelson tomorrow to visit my sister and her family (Hi jody!) I am taking the overnight bus to Vancouver, arrive at 5a.m., catch the plane at 12ish (need to see exactly what time I leave!) arriving in the Queen Charlot Islands without sleep....who needs sleep anyways!!!!!! My sense of direction is horrific, coupled with my small town street smarts, everyone (including me) is waiting with held breath until I arrive. I will keep you all posted! I tried cooking last night and almost severed my finger (not kidding........3 bloody bandages later it is quite clear why I don't cook !!!!!) I am still hopeful to have the big frame done before I leave......if it happens pictures will be posted! The Christmas craft fair is almost here........that's right people.....I will be felting on my vacation! Coffee in the A.M. with Faya!!!!!!! Hello people in computer world! I am about to stop crafting for this eavning, I have been working on the big frame and 2 smaller ones....flipping back and forth between all three has made for good starts but no finishes! I have to spend some time cleaning my home, I am hosting girls night this Friday.......nobody needs to witness the disaster of my space!!!!! One more day of work......xoxoxoxoxox

I am in Frame land! My finger tips are covered with lavender paint, and I am being quite dare devilish as I am wearing a cream dress....no paint spillage yet!!!!!! I am working on the big frame, I am aiming for this weekend as completion deadline...we shall see!

First of all yesterday was not the 16th but the 17th...Which makes this the 18th..not the 17th..you got all that!!!! October is flying by!!!! It is pouring rain, I can here almost a roar as it rolls off the roof....Roxy is looking out the window, and Simon.....poor little guy is out in this mess, I'm sure he has found a dry spot and will come racing home as soon as it lets up. I went apple picking (watching Brenton and Amos pick apples..lol) today after work....super fun....my apple picking buddy's are also the cooking type..I am expecting phone calls all this week to indulge in wonderful sweet apple treats! Although I was in a grump all this weekend I did get some felting done.....pictures added to the all done and ready to sell wall. At the moment I am working on a really big peice...I am keeping it really simple, time crunch and all is no time to expairiment....after x-mas! 5;30.......... time to start thinking about dinner, may have to dig out my rubber boots and splash on down to the food store!
