Art show is done.....

I have just taken down my art show at Oso...36 peices of art sold..requests for custom work, a blurb in an art magazine, inquiries to my next show..the most sales and excitment at Oso for an art show (according to staff members) I would say a successful first official art show. I feel overwelmed and excited and a bit in shock...who knew!!!!!!??????? Dinner and a bath I think!!! xoxooxoxox

A magazine based out of Nelson has contacted me and would like to put a little blurb in thair magazine about me and my art!!!!!!! It is a free magazine about art music and creative people in Nelson!!!!!! Life is grand!!!!

When things don;t go as planed...felt!

The Alligator is done and is hanging at Oso...tomorrow the general population can see my newest peice! Yes it is an alligator on a leash being walked by a girl and yes it is snowing!!!! Magda and El Savador.......

The gory details

Montreal is cancelled..I may have vomited in my mouth a bit! Fraya and Mark are moving back to Nelson, a family health situation has made it nessasary for thair return to the Kootanys. I fully suport thair decision and know it was a difficult one to come to. I am unable to finance Montreal on my own..hopefully it will happen in the future..time will tell. I am trying to figure out how to get out of Nelson for the summer..I have several balls in the air..we will see..I need out for a moment and am slightly hell bent on making that happen!!!! Today has been wonderful (weather wise) life is still a pain in the ass (excuse my laugage) I have been out and about all day..I will return home to work on my alligator picture..she might be done and hung by friday..again we shall see!!!!

Curve ball...

Sometimes life throws you a curve ball..a test of sorts..very unfourtunate that my hand eye cordination is horrific!!!! When I figure out how to deal I will elaberate!

art art and more art!!!!

I have just gotten back from an art opening in which my friend Brook is apart of. I am sooooo very proud of him...he has four peices up (2 of which I have pictures of) he allowed himself to have fun..to expariment..and it's wonderful!!! He is a creative being in so many ways..trust yourself and your talents...your wonderful!!! On the felting front I am working on an elephant, and bunny, and girl..all works in progress...and yes that is Roxy licking the frame!!!! Tomorrow will be day 10 of work sooooo bed is very near in the future!! hugs and love!

insanity!

I didn't mean too, in fact I said I was NOT going to do this, but I have......My art has been selling quite quickly and Oso said if I had more art to bring it in....thair is no more...I have no more wood to make small frames, I am exhausted, I have been working a ton at the restraunt, in fact I have to work 11 days in a row....long story! In a moment of utter insanity I picked up my felting needle and began felting...I found 2 huge frames at a second hand store.....I am working big...stupid big.....I think I am in love with this felting thing!!!!! I am slightly obsessed....I don't think in a bad way....tons of people hang out in thair rooms surrounded by art mess...every day...and love it..and miss it when in other locations.....surly I am not the only one!!!! xoxoxox
